How to choose a bike for a kid?

Kids’ bikes are sized differently from adult bikes. Instead of frame height or length, children’s bikes are measured by wheel size. Keep in mind that taller children may be able to move up to a larger wheel size, but bigger bikes often introduce new features—such as multiple gears and hand brakes instead of coaster brakes—that may take some getting used to.
